We are seeking an exceptional VP of Hardware Engineering to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll be crucial in leading our hardware engineering team and driving technological excellence at Bloq.it.
What will be your responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow the hardware engineering team to deliver high-quality and innovative hardware solutions.
- Develop and execute strategies to meet hardware development goals and support business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software solutions.
- Drive technical innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies and trends in hardware design and manufacturing.
- Ensure the hardware engineering team follows best practices, development standards, and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership to solve complex hardware engineering challenges.

Contribute to the overall business strategy and product roadmap as a key member of the leadership team.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Vast experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in leading and managing large hardware engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex hardware products from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of hardware development processes, methodologies, tools, manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to drive technical innovation and adapt to emerging technologies.

Experience in the smart locker or logistics industry is a plus.
