VP of Field Services (Deployment & Maintenance)

In this position, you will report directly to the COO and oversee a team of 50+ people responsible for deploying and maintaining Bloq.it's locker networks across various European countries. will provide both strategic direction and day-to-day operational leadership, ensuring our field services excel in uptime, cost efficiency, and SLA compliance.

What will be your responsibilities

• Define and execute the overarching strategy for deployment, maintenance, and field operations, ensuring alignment with Bloq.it’s growth objectives;
• Manage multi-country teams that handle logistics, warehousing, installation, and maintenance of lockers - ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality service delivery;
• Drive key metrics such as SLA compliance, downtime reduction, and cost optimization across all territories;
• Partner with other VPs (Operations, Product, etc.) to improve processes and integrate feedback from the field;
• Build and nurture strong local leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement among a large distributed workforce;
• Spend time in the field to understand local challenges, support frontline teams, and maintain a hands-on perspective.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Demonstrated background in deploying and maintaining distributed autonomous devices (e.g., lockers, EV chargers, kiosks, or similar);
• Capable of setting high-level goals while also diving into day-to-day management and problem-solving;
• Proven ability to manage local teams with diverse cultural and operational practices;
• Proficiency in using KPIs and analytics to guide decisions, track performance, and implement improvements;
• Comfortable collaborating with executive leadership, local managers, and external vendors or partners;
• Willing to engage with frontline personnel, adapt to evolving challenges, and build strong internal relationships.
