We are in search of a Technician Manager to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance team.
What will be your responsibilities
- Recruit, supervise and lead technical teams for optimal performance;
- Develop and implement technical procedures, protocols, and policies to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards and maintenance processes;
- Coordinate with other departments to support technical needs;
- Manage equipment inventory and ensure timely maintenance;
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including environmental, health & safety, and labor laws, and work with management to address and resolve issues as they arise;
- Collect data, put in place KPIs and related dashboards related to technician and maintenance performance;Work closely with maintenance support team and train technician on the correct usage of CMMS / GMAO system.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Fluent in French & English;
- Strong technical background in electromechanics, electronics, or a related field;
- Good communication skills for both team coordination and cross-department collaboration;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and operational standards;
- Comfortable working with reporting tools and maintenance systems (e.g. CMMS, ticketing platforms);
- Ability to train, coach, and develop technical staff.
Extra valued skills
- Experience in hardware or IoT-based product environments;
- Experience in fast-scaling environments or startup operations;
- Data-driven mindset and ability to track KPIs and performance metrics.
