Software Engineer (Apps Integration)

As an Application Integration Specialist, you'll be instrumental in integrating software solutions within our projects. Working with the Biz Ops team, which is a mix of project managers, and business, you'll play a pivotal role in infusing our systems with the latest technology, enhancing operational capabilities, and aligning technological advancements with our business goals.

We’re looking for this role since our fast-growing operational needs require a lot of different teams to collaborate, and we need an expert in optimising and automating the processes between these teams and the tools they use.

What will be your responsibilities:

• Technology Integration: Lead the integration of new tech solutions into other systems, such as CRMs, fleet management and similar applications, ensuring seamless, efficient alignment with operational needs.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with the other teams using agile methodologies to ensure seamless ent-to-end integration. 
• Requirements Gathering: Since you will be collaborating with multiple teams, there’s a need to be able to gather requirements in different contexts.
• Process Optimization: Apply technology to make existing processes more efficient and cost-effective.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for integrated systems, maintaining high uptime and reliability.
• Training and Documentation: Develop training for new tech and systems; create comprehensive integration and update documentation.
• Research and Development: Keep up with industry tech trends; recommend innovative solutions for Bloq.it’s operations.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• More than 2 years of experience in technology integration, IT project management, or a similar role.
• Tech Savvy, well-versed in AI for workload automation and show passion for staying ahead in tech innovation.
• Experienced in Python and Javascript.
• Experienced in working with multiple types of APIs.
• Proficient in system integration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in producing technical documentation
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is continuously changing.

Extra Valued Skills

• Experience in startups or fast-growing companies.
• Experienced in companies that build both software and hardware is valued.
• Familiarity with version control (GitHub Actions), microservices (Docker, Kubernetes), AWS (IoT Core, S3).
• Data governance and compliance knowledge.
