We are in search of a Senior Cloud Support Engineer to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. As a Senior Cloud Support Engineer, you will handle escalated (L3) issues related to our backend systems and cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with DevOps, Product, and the Specialist Team Lead to maintain platform stability, resolve incidents, and enhance our overall cloud performance.
What will be your responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve high-priority incidents affecting uptime, performance, or scalability.
- Recommend and implement enhancements for AWS/Azure/GCP (or similar) services to improve reliability and cost efficiency;
- Perform in-depth analysis of recurring issues, ensuring permanent fixes and thorough post-incident reviews;
- Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Product teams to align cloud deployments with business needs;
- Create clear troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for internal support agents and field technicians.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Solid experience with AWS, including monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting;
- Familiarity with Python, Bash, or similar for automating processes;
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, diagnosing and mitigating critical outages;
- Able to translate technical outcomes for both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders;
- Experience configuring and using Datadog (or similar platforms) for observability and performance monitoring;
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
