We are in search of a Security Specialist to join our innovative team as new a #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, correcting, and protecting the brains that power our smart locker solutions.
What will be your responsabilities
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps and propose mitigation measures;
- Develop security policies, standards, and best practices;
- Assess and mitigate risks related both with the development workflow and runtimes of our engineering teams;
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud infrastructure (AWS).
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Familiarity with at least one programming language;
- Mastery of common web-based security practices (OWASP, etc);
- Mastery of cloud-agnostic security guidelines and best practices;
- Familiarity with threat modelling, ideally in different contexts (web, IoT);
- Deep understanding of language/stack-agnostic static and dynamic code scanning techniques.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills - since all of your responsibilities will involve interacting with our platform, architecture, and engineering teams;
- Ability to proactively model complex attacking scenarios, involving different entry points and technologies;
- Mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
