We are in search of a Risk Manager to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar.
In this role, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensuring structured systems are in place to manage legal, regulatory, and operational risks across the organisation. Additionally, this role will lead business continuity and crisis management initiatives, while analysing risk data to inform strategic decisions and mitigate legal exposure.
This is a hybrid position, ideally based in France or Portugal but open to one of our offices in Madrid, Milan, Brussels, London, or Amsterdam.
What will be your responsibilities
- Providing oversight of organisational risks, with a focus on legal and regulatory exposures, to support governance and safeguard strategic integrity;
- Building and maintaining structured and scalable systems covering many areas of risk management: incident management, document and process management, compliance systems, etc;
- Ensuring business continuity strategies are in place to protect contractual obligations, maintain stakeholder trust, and minimise disruption during critical events;
- Leading responses to crisis events to protect the organisation’s legal interests, reputation, and regulatory standing during periods of acute disruption;
- Interpreting the data collected through the various risk management systems, assisting with metric setting, and identifying data trends to guide operational decision-making;
- Other ad hoc risk management tasks.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- 5+ years’ experience in risk management roles;
- Bachelor’s degree at minimum in an appropriate field of study;
- Ability to communicate effectively in English;
- Experience establishing risk management systems across large organisations;
- Excellent interpersonal skills that establish trust and effective working relationships;
- Strong ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders;
- Highly proactive approach to problem solving and a delivery mindset, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced working environment.
