Process Consultant Supply Chain

As a Process Consultant specializing in Supply Chain, you will be part of our BizOps team, driving change, innovation, and optimization at Bloq.it. Your role will focus on streamlining processes to align with business objectives, ensuring efficiency across procurement, logistics, and production. You will identify improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and lead initiatives that enhance cost-effectiveness and operational performance.

What will be your responsibilities

• Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Production to ensure smooth execution of projects & initiatives and to implement process excellence across the organization;
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, improving efficiency, cost savings and eliminating inefficiencies/bottlenecks, utilizing methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, etc;
• Develop and maintain detailed process maps, SOPs, and workflow documentation to ensure clear, standardized, and efficient operations;
• Prepare clear and concise documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and testing scenarios;
• Act as a liaison between different business stakeholders ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements, fostering collaboration and driving consensus;
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in supply chain and logistics by regularly reviewing and refining operational processes and process improvement practices;
• Provide guidance and training to team members on process improvement methodologies and best practices;
• Conduct in-depth analysis of data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement;
• Ensure that operational processes align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, reducing risk exposure and operational bottlenecks;
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes, making adjustments as necessary to drive ongoing improvements;
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Operations Specialists and other Team Members in every level of the Organization to identify additional opportunities to tackle.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Fluent in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken);
• More than 3 years of experience process consulting, operational excellence, supply chain management, logistics, or related roles;
• Proven experience in process improvement, operational excellence or related roles, with a strong understanding of methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, etc;
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, namely in change management procedures;
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes and driving continuous improvement;
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams with team members with different backgrounds and expertise;
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of practicality and efficiency;
• Proficient with project management software and process mapping tools (e.g. Figma, Miro, etc.);
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accuracy;
• Proactive in taking action and getting stuff done;
• Tech Savvy with an interest in continuously looking into new tools and solutions to improve the business;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is continuously changing.

Extra valued skills

• Experience in a startup or fast-growing company;
• Advanced degree or certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred;
• Experienced in companies that build both software and hardware is valued;
• Familiarity with automation tools and technologies (e.g., workflow automation);
• Demonstrable achievements in process optimization and/or project management, such as significant cost savings or efficiency improvements across multiple departments;
• ​​Proven track record in crafting clear, concise documentation and comprehensive reporting.
