We are in search of a Mechanical Test Engineer to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in validating our products.
What will be your responsibilities
- Design and develop test specifications and plans to validate the performance, reliability, and durability of hardware products;
- Conduct various tests including stress tests, to evaluate product performance under different conditions;
- Define test setups together with R&D, Production and external laboratories to validade design decisions;
- Analyze test data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement;
- Provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements based on test results to enhance product performance and reliability;
- Ensure individual components and complete products meet necessary certifications and standards, including safety and regulatory compliance;
- Create and maintain partnerships with certification bodies;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and ensure all testing and product developments adhere to these standards;
- Document all testing procedures, results, and recommendations thoroughly and accurately;
- Work closely with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of products;
- Identify and resolve issues discovered during testing through innovative solutions and effective troubleshooting techniques;
- Participate in the elaboration of the FMEA;
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
- Proven experience in mechanical testing and validation, preferably in the context of metal products;
- Proficiency in developing and conducting various mechanical tests, including stress tests and reliability tests;
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test data and provide actionable insights;
- Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate records of testing procedures and results;
- Knowledge of relevant certifications and regulatory compliance requirements (IP, IK, NSST, Security);
- Proven experience in finding solutions for problems found during testing;
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly;
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and technologies;
