We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for our hardware products, ensuring mechanical precision and excellence.
What will be your responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models of hardware components and systems using CAD software.
- Create comprehensive engineering drawings that accurately represent mechanical designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize mechanical designs from concept to production.
- Support the prototyping process by creating accurate models and drawings for prototype fabrication.
- Work closely with the testing team to ensure designs meet performance, durability, and safety requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, modifications, and project progress.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve mechanical design challenges through innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in the context of hardware or consumer products.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with FEA tools.
- Strong ability to create precise and detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to drive design innovation and improve mechanical performance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.
