Head of Product Data

We are in search of a Head of Product Data to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of Bloq.it’s data initiatives within our overall product roadmap. You will lead a small, dedicated team of product-minded data professionals and collaborate closely with Bloq.it’s broader Data group to fulfill their data needs.

What will be your responsibilities

• Define the vision, roadmap, and priorities for data-related initiatives, ensuring data solutions align with Bloq.it’s broader product goals;
• Work closely with other product teams, engineering, and the Data department to understand and address data requirements across various solutions;
• Manage a small team of data professionals, setting clear objectives, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth;
• Oversee the full lifecycle of data products - from concept, planning, and development to deployment and post-launch optimization;
• Identify opportunities to improve data infrastructure, analytics capabilities, and overall product value through data insights;
• Establish and maintain robust data governance practices, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance;
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related product initiatives, aligning cross-functional needs and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Proven track record managing or leading data-centric products, including development, launch, and ongoing enhancements;
• Comfortable discussing data architecture, analytics infrastructure, and BI tools with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable data initiatives that drive product growth and user engagement;
• Demonstrated success in managing a small team of data/product specialists, collaborating across multiple departments, and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment;
• Skilled at gathering data requirements, defining success metrics, interpreting results, and making data-driven decisions;
• Able to clearly articulate data concepts, inspire teams, and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
• Familiarity with logistics, IoT, or last-mile delivery is a plus, but not mandatory.
