We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to design and develop PCBs/PCBAs for various projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both analog and digital circuits, with a strong background in PCB Design with high-speed signaling and integration of FPGAs, microcontrollers, and microprocessors. This role requires expertise in optimizing PCB layouts for EMI/EMC and ensuring product certification.


What will be your responsibilities

  • PCB design for various projects.
  • Design, test and validate subsystems, circuits, and components.
  • Write detailed engineering and technical documentation, covering system requirements, design assumptions, reliability/certification, regression testing, and test procedures.
  • Prepare PCB projects for PCBAs with clear annotations and assembly documentation.
  • Manage BOMs and component libraries.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in hardware design and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in hardware design.


What are the requirements to join us in this position

  • Live in Portugal and have a valid work permit;
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering (or a related field);
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in PCB design, layout and hardware development of embedded electronics products;
  • Proficient with one of the following: Altium, KiCad, Cadence OrCAD, or equivalent;
  • Experience in simulating electrical subsystems and circuits using LTSpice or similar;
  • Experience in PCB rework; hand soldering of through-hole, SMT, wires and terminals;
  • Experience in inspection of printed circuit boards for defects and/or damage;
  • Experience with circuit design with microcontrollers or microprocessors;
  • Experience in consumer electronics and mass production environments.


Extra valued skills

  • Experience with displays, camera modules, SoM/SoC, and PMIC;
  • Experience in RF design and systems;
  • Experience in power electronics; DC/DC converters and board-level power supplies;
  • Experience with product certification procedures;
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360;
  • Experience with embedded software development (C, C++ or Python);
  • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN);
  • Knowledge in high-speed signaling over DP, CSI, MIPI, Ethernet, PCIe, HDMI, and USB.
