We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Generalist to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar.
What will be your responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable solutions for data integration, storage, modeling, and visualization.
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end cloud-based data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Create and maintain optimized data models and schemas that support business intelligence and analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to provide actionable insights to business teams.
- Document processes, data models, and system architectures comprehensively to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

- Proactive mindset, capable of thriving in dynamic environments and continuously improving data processes and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Databricks is a plus.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data-related roles, encompassing data engineering, modeling, and visualization.
- Strong programming skills in SQL and Python/R/Scala, with hands-on experience in developing data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and their data services, such as S3, Redshift, Glue,kinesis or equivalents.
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques for relational and non-relational databases, as well as experience in designing schemas for analytical workloads.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Quicksight, Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex data challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
