We are in search of a Chief Environmental Officer (CEnO) to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in spearheading our sustainability initiatives and environmental responsibility efforts, ensuring that Bloq.it remains at the forefront of eco-friendly practices while fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.

What will be your responsibilities

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives
• Engaging with clients to promote sustainability efforts and develop partnerships focused on environmental responsibility. This includes incorporating sustainability into marketing initiatives and client interactions
• Identifying continuous improvement and innovation opportunities in sustainability and environmental practices
• Leading various environmental initiatives such as tree planting campaigns, carbon offset programs, and other sustainable projects aimed at reducing the company's environmental footprint
• Assessing the environmental impact generated by company operations and employees while coordinating efforts to offset carbon emissions and achieve carbon neutrality goals
• Establish monitoring systems to track sustainability metrics and evaluate progress towards company goals
• Act as a liaison with external stakeholders and represent the company in events to advocate for sustainable practices and foster positive relationships

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Demonstrated experience in sustainability, environmental management, or related fields
• Passion for environmental stewardship and sustainability practices
• Basic understanding of project management principles and a willingness to learn and lead environmental initiatives
• Ability to analyze data and assess environmental impact
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and community organizations
• Proactivity and willingness to explore and implement innovative solutions to environmental challenges and drive continuous improvement
• Eagerness to stay updated on industry trends, sustainability advancements, and emerging technologies
