Business Intelligence Manager

We are in search of a Business Intelligence Manager to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll will work closely with key stakeholders to align analytical capabilities with business objectives, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strategic impact.

What will be your responsibilities

• Lead a business intelligence team, fostering a data-driven culture and ensuring professional growth;
• Define and execute a long-term BI strategy that aligns with business objectives, improves operational efficiency, and enables strategic decision-making through advanced analytics;
• Transformational Projects: Drive high-impact projects that align with strategic business objectives, delivering measurable results and driving business growth;
• Lead data analysis and visualization efforts to generate actionable insights, optimizing business performance through reports, dashboards, and analytics models;
• identifying inefficiencies in business processes, leveraging data and BI tools to recommend improvements, and driving continuous optimization;
• Ensure the effective use of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, AWS Quicksight, and SQL-based reporting systems to create, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports;
• Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency and ensure compliance with data governance policies;
• Work closely with the Data Team to support and enhance the organization's data warehousing and infrastructure needs, ensuring scalability and efficiency;
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that BI insights contribute to business performance improvements and decision-making efficiency.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken);
• 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset;
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, AWS Quicksight, or similar;
• Experience managing and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration and development.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating data insights into business recommendations;
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Familiarity with business process modeling, automation, and improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools and agile methodologies;
• Tech-savvy, with a passion for leveraging data to drive business impact.

Extra valued skills

• Proficiency in Python or other data manipulation languages;
• Understanding of project management frameworks such as Agile or Scrum;
• Experience with ERP systems and data extraction processes;
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar process improvement credentials;
• Knowledge of workflow automation tools and emerging automation technologies.
• Experience or familiarity with change management methodologies and their application.
