Head of Operations Strategy

At the moment we’re looking for a highly analytical, hands-on, and business-minded Head of Operations Strategy to lead and scale our data, process excellence and strategy capabilities. This role is key to shaping how we operate as a company, bringing together insights, optimization and strategy.

You will be responsible for three main areas: Data and analytics (transforming data into business actions); operational excellence (improving how we run today), Operational strategy (designing how we operate tomorrow).

What will be your responsibilities

Data & Analytics:

• Lead a team of analysts covering operations, field services and customer areas;
• Ensure delivery of high-quality dashboards, scenario modelling, business case support, performance KPIs and tracking frameworks;
• Work closely with business owners to embed analytics into day-to-day decisions-making;
• Ensure data insights translate into measurable impact (e.g. efficiency, revenue, etc);
• Support the development of analytical models to assist operational, field and central teams in decision-making.

Operational Excellence (Process improvement):

• Lead process improvement specialists focused on internal efficiency;
• Identity operational bottlenecks and design structured improvement initiatives;
• Introduce and scale continuous improvement practices across operations and quantify those improvements;
• Drive measurable outcomes such as cost reduction, cycle time improvements, service and quality;
• Develop and maintain standardized procedures to improve consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.

Operational strategy (long-term focus);

• Design strategic operating models for scale, efficiency and new markets;
• Conduct strategic business cases (e.g., insourcing vs outsourcing, warehousing strategy, network design, internationalization, etc);
• Shape the future of logistics, supply chain, field services and support models across the organization;
• Build and validate business models to simulate operational scenarios;
• Create structured business cases based on analysis, including recommendations, financial modelling and risk assessments with proposed mitigations.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain consulting, strategy and analytics;
• Background in consulting and operations is preferred
• Proven ability to design business operating models and implement process improvements;
• High proficiency in excel and PowerPoint - strong modelling and structuring skills;
• Ability to go from data, to insight, to recommendations
• Comfort working from high-level strategy to hands-on implementation;
• Experience with business cases, KPI design, financial and supply chain modeling and strategic analysis;
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
