As a Marketing Project Manager at Bloq.it, you will be the operational backbone of the Marketing team, working closely with our Head of Marketing to ensure that every campaign, product launch, trade show presence, content piece, and cross-functional initiative runs smoothly, on time, and within scope. You’ll have a helicopter view of all Marketing Requests, both the planned initiatives and the unexpected, last-minute ones. This role is about managing what’s already in the roadmap, but also about proactively organizing and prioritizing ad hoc work as it comes in. You’ll need the agility to distribute tasks efficiently across team members, while using your strategic lens, grounded in company goals and priorities to ensure we’re always focused on what matters most and nothing falls through the cracks. From managing deadlines and team assignments in JIRA to organizing long-term documentation in Confluence, you’ll be the person who makes sure that every creative idea moves from planning to execution without friction. You’ll also handle the weekly workload of the creative team to allow for quality to stay consistent. What will be your responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day tracking of marketing tasks, deadlines, and deliverables using Jira as the single source of truth;
- Set up, assign, follow up, and ensure accountability for tickets and tasks within Jira, keeping everything moving toward launch;
- Coordinate with designers, social creators, video editors, and event planners to align on realistic timelines and workloads;
- Continuously improve project workflows, templates, and sprint planning rituals to ensure we’re delivering efficiently and collaboratively;
- Create and maintain project calendars, marketing launch timelines, and internal milestone checklists;
- Planning for a trade show being months in advance, keeping track of all the moving pieces and deadlines, is key for a smooth process focused on relevance and impact;
- Ensure that creative assets, copy, and approvals are completed and ready well in advance of their deadlines;
- Proactively identify timeline risks, communicate blockers early, and propose solutions in close loop with team leadership;
- Feed and help maintain well-organized project briefs, roadmaps, and marketing documentation using Confluence for long-term access and clarity;
- Drive bi-weekly progress updates, team stand-ups, and reporting dashboards to keep all stakeholders informed.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Marketing Project Management, ideally in a Tech, SaaS, or creative agency setting;
- Proficiency with Jira to plan, track, assign, and report on marketing workflows, campaigns, and sprint cycles;
- Experience using Confluence to document strategies, meeting notes, team workflows, and campaign retrospectives;
- Strong ability to manage multiple timelines without compromising detail or quality;
- Experience creating performance reports and dashboards using Jira or Excel. Comfortable working with OKRs and KPIs;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; native-level fluency is a strong plus. Comfortable with communicating with both technical team and C-level and above;
- Able to build systems that provide structure without slowing down creativity and keep reaction capacity;
- You enjoy optimizing how teams work and can implement scalable improvements;
- Familiarity with creative and copy review cycles, asset delivery milestones, and go-to-market launch timelines;
- Able to build relationships across departments and keep teams focused and motivated;
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus, as is any Agile or Scrum-specific training;
- Experience connecting project management tools (e.g. Slack, Miro, Figma, Jira) or setting up automation rules to reduce manual overhead.
