We are in search of a Legal Counsel to join as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role ensuring the company's compliance with laws and regulations, while supporting its business objectives.
What will be your responsibilities
- Provide general support on a range of corporate matters, including management of corporate documents and assistance on Board and Shareholder meetings;
- Monitoring compliance with corporate governance requirements;
- Review a variety of commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, supplier agreements, and service agreements;
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets, and provide support on strategies to protect the company's intellectual property assets;
- Manage legal documentation and records, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and external lawyers.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Bachelor's Degree in Law from a Portuguese University;
- Professional experience of at least 1 year in similar roles;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Passion for working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to demonstrate personal commitment and drive to set and exceed high standards;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
