Our commitment to innovation and excellence drives us to seek a talented Lead Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a new team of structural and thermal simulation engineers to ensure the structural and thermal integrity of our products and conduct research and development on materials to enhance their performance and durability. You will also be responsible to validate our initial concepts through simulation.
What will be your responsabilities
- Lead and mentor a team of simulation engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment;
- Support the prototyping process by creating accurate simulation models;
- Address and resolve mechanical design challenges through innovative solutions and continuous improvement;
- Perform structural analysis and simulations to ensure the integrity and safety of our products under various conditions;
- Develop and refine 1-D and 3-D simulation methods for evaluating thermal performance, safety, and reliability of our products;
- Conduct research on new materials and technologies to improve product performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness;
- Develop and implement testing protocols to validate material properties and structural performance;
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to optimize product designs and material efficiency;
- Ensure that all products meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements;
- Maintain thorough documentation of all research, analysis, and testing processes;
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance product performance and extend product life cycles.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Vast experience in Structural Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or a related field;
- Proven experience in structural and/or thermal analysis and materials research, preferably in the context of consumer products or smart lockers;
- Proficiency in CAD software, FEA/CFD tools, and material testing equipment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct complex analyses and simulations;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and stay updated with the latest developments in materials science and structural engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers;
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.
Extra valued skills
- Knowledge of Generative Design and Topology Optimization methods and tools;
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and project requirements.
