We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting, researching, and integrating electronic components into our hardware products. Your expertise will drive the development of power electronics, battery systems, camera solutions, presence sensors, and peripheral integration, ensuring robust documentation and hardware versioning processes.
What will be your responsibilities
- Choose and research electronic components that meet the specifications and requirements of our hardware products.
- Develop and integrate power electronics solutions, including DC/DC converters and battery management systems.
- Design and implement efficient and reliable battery systems tailored for our products.
- Develop and integrate cameras, presence sensors and various other peripherals into the hardware ecosystem.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for all electronic components, designs, and processes.
- Implement and manage hardware versioning to ensure traceability and consistency in product development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and industrial design, to ensure cohesive product development.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic components and systems to ensure performance and reliability.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Proven experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronics design and development, preferably in the context of consumer products or smart technology.
- Proficiency in designing power electronics (DC/DC converters), battery systems, and integrating sensors and camera solutions.
- Experience with CAD software for electronics, such as Altium Designer, and simulation tools for circuit design.
- Strong capability in creating detailed documentation and managing hardware versioning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technological innovation and stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics engineering.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.
