We are in search of a VP Engineering to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in leading our engineering team and driving technical innovation at Bloq.it.
What will be your responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team to deliver high-quality solutions and products;
- Develop and execute strategies to meet product development goals and support business growth;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and ensure seamless integration of software and hardware solutions;
- Drive technical innovation by identifying emerging technologies and trends relevant to our industry;
- Ensure the engineering team follows best practices, development standards, and compliance requirements;
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to solve complex engineering challenges;
- Contribute to the overall business strategy and product roadmap as a key member of the leadership team.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams;
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software and hardware products;
- Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, tools, and best practices;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and adapt to emerging technologies;
- Experience in the smart locker or logistics industry is a plus.
